Srinagar, July 1 -- The Committee for Fixation of Fee Structure of Private Educational Institutions (FFRC), Jammu & Kashmir (UT), has issued a clarification regarding the charging of transport fees by private schools during academic breaks.
In a corrigendum to its earlier order dated July 25, 2024, the committee has modified Point No. 1 to regulate transport fees during winter break in Kashmir division and summer break in Jammu division.
Private schools that operate their own transport services will now be allowed to charge only 50% of the usual transport fee during these break periods.
