Srinagar, June 10 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for approving 316 road projects in Jammu and Kashmir under Batch-I of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-IV (PMGSY-IV).

Sanctioned at an estimated cost of ?4224 crore, the projects represent the largest-ever PMGSY package for the Union Territory. J&K is also the first among all States and UTs to receive approval under the latest phase of the scheme.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The approved 1781 kilometers of road length will connect 390 eligible habitations with a population of over 250, significantly improving rural road infrastructure in remote areas.
