Jammu, March 18 -- Srinagar March 18 (KNS); The Planning and Publicity Division of J&K Forest Department organized a one- day workshop on ornithology and plant taxonomy skills at Sheikhbgh Forest Complex, Srinagar. The workshop aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of forest officials in the fields of bird identification and plant taxonomy.

Irfan Rasool Wani, Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF), Kashmir, was the chief guest at the workshop. Resource persons in the fields of ornithology and plant taxonomy delivered lectures and shared their expertise with the participants.
