Srinagar, Oct. 8 -- In line with the Government's vision of promoting financial empowerment of women through self help groups, J&K Bank and its sponsored entity J&K Grameen Bank have successfully disbursed Rs 100 Crore in loans to Self-Help Groups (SHGs) operating under the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM).
Marking the culmination of a month-long campaign aimed at strengthening women-led entrepreneurship across the Union Territory, the Bank presented a symbolic cheque of Rs 100 Crore to JKRLM during the ongoing SARAS Mela here at Municipal Park.
