Srinagar, May 29 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Urdu Council held an important Executive Body meeting today at its headquarters in Srinagar, chaired by Council President Advocate Abdul Rashid Hanjura. The meeting focused on improving the organization's functioning and planning for future activities.

The Council also expanded its team with several new appointments to strengthen operations. Javed Kirmani was appointed as Secretary Information and Spokesperson, while Sufi Ali Mohammad was reappointed as Finance Secretary. Bilal Furqan was made Secretary and will support General Secretary Javed Mattoo. Nazim Nazir was put in charge of social media platforms.
