Srinagar, June 13 -- Israel on Friday launched what it described as preemptive strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, killing key military commanders and sparking fears of a full-scale war between the two arch-rivals.

According to reports, the strikes targeted multiple high-security locations across Iran, including nuclear enrichment and missile development sites. Among those killed were Iran's Army Chief Mohammad Bagheri and Revolutionary Guards Commander-in-Chief General Hossein Salami-marking one of the most serious military blows to Iran in decades.
