Tehran, June 23 -- In a strong response to what it described as a "blatant military aggression" by the United States against its peaceful nuclear facilities, Iran's Armed Forces announced that it has launched a powerful missile strike on the Al-Udeid air base in Qatar - a key US military installation in the region.

According to a statement issued by Iran's military, the operation, named Besharat Fatah (Good News of Victory), was carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) under the command of Iran's Central Headquarters of the Last Prophet. The missile strike, launched with the sacred code "Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (PBUH)," targeted what Iran described as the "largest strategic asset" of the US Air Force in West Asia.
