Bandipora, Aug. 7 -- Indu Kanwal Chib today formally assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, succeeding Manzoor Ahmad Qadri.

A formal handover ceremony was held in the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, where the outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, officially handed over the responsibilities of the district administration to Indu Kanwal Chib.

Senior officers of the district administration were present to witness the smooth transition of charge.
