Srinagar, June 15 -- A group of Indian medical students studying in Tehran, Iran, have issued an urgent appeal for help, expressing deep concern over their safety as tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate.

The students, many of whom are from Jammu and Kashmir, say they are living under constant fear as missile interceptions and explosions are frequently heard at night in the Iranian capital. While the days remain relatively calm, nights are marked by loud sounds of airstrikes or missile defense systems in action.
