Uri May 20, May 20 -- In a major welfare initiative, the Indian Army on Tuesday organized a comprehensive medical camp for the border villages of Urusa, Chakra, Isham, and Goalta in the Uri sector, following the recent ceasefire agreement.

Held under the aegis of the Chinar Corps' Kalapahar Brigade and Kathi Battalion, the camp provided free medical consultations, diagnostic services, and medicines to local residents. The initiative aimed to improve healthcare access for people in these remote villages, who have long faced difficulties due to border tensions and limited medical facilities.
