Srinagar, July 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that Operation Sindoor, carried out after the Pahalgam terror attack, had shown India's ability to respond to threats and had drawn international attention to the country's approach to national security.

He said no terrorist will be spared and India will respond firmly to every attack, as demonstrated by Operation Sindoor.

Speaking in Ariyalur during the valedictory ceremony of the Aadi Thiruvathirai Festival, Modi said the operation marked a shift in how the country handles security matters.
