Jammu, Feb. 15 -- India put on a powerful performance to defeat Pakistan by 61 runs in their 27th Match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

India elected to bat first after Pakistan won the toss and immediately took the game by the scruff of the neck. The Men in Blue posted a commanding 175/7 in their 20 overs, thanks to a brilliant innings from opener Ishan Kishan, who scored a fiery 77 runs off 40 balls with powerful boundaries and smart stroke play.
