Srinagar, Oct. 22 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday expressed hope that the Congress and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) would support the National Conference in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, helping keep the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) out.
Talking to media as per Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said the party's legislative members held a meeting to plan strategy for the session and to ensure the success of NC candidates in the polls.
"Before every session, party legislative members are being called to make strategy for the session. We held a meeting today to ensure successful Rajya Sabha polls, and I hope the four candidates of NC will secure victory," Omar Abdullah told reporters.
