Jammu, Nov. 28 -- Jammu, Nov 28 (KNS) A journalist Sarfarz Daing's family lost their house in a JDA anti encroachment drive. The next day, their Hindu neighbour Kuldeep Kumar offered them a five marla plot to rebuild. His daughter Tanya signed the gift deed. A video of the gesture went viral.

Leaders from several parties visited the area. They said the demolition looked selective. Former BJP chief Ravinder Raina said he was pained by the action and promised help. He said the Lieutenant Governor had issued no demolition order.
