Awantipora, May 16 -- Inspector General of Police Kashmir V K Birdi said today that a strategic review of heightened terror activity in the Valley prompted an "intensified focus on operations."
"Based on credible intelligence and seamless coordination," he added, "we launched two pinpointed missions-one in the challenging upper forests of Keller, the other in a residential sector of Tral-evacuating civilians in advance and ensuring a professional execution that neutralised six terrorists."
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), he made these remarks while addressing a Joint press conference with senior army and CRPF officials.
