Jammu, July 22 -- With heavy rains forecast over the next 72 hours, district authorities across Jammu division have issued safety advisories, shutting schools in Rajouri and Reasi and warning residents to remain alert.
In Rajouri, continuous downpour has swollen the Dharhali and Saktoh rivers, flooding several low-lying areas. District Magistrate Rajouri announced on X, "In view of adverse weather conditions, all Government and Private Schools in Rajouri District will remain closed today."
