Srinagar, June 14 -- The ongoing heatwave continues to impact Jammu and Kashmir, with the Meteorological Department issuing 'orange' and 'yellow' alerts across the region for the coming days. High temperatures, dry conditions, and gusty winds are expected to persist until June 19, with only June 17 likely to see some relief.
The MeT Department has placed an 'orange' alert for Saturday (June 15), warning of severe heatwave conditions, while a 'yellow' alert remains in effect for June 15, 16, 18, and 19. Hot and dry weather is expected to dominate over the next 24 hours, with daytime temperatures staying well above average.
