Beerwah, Jan. 1 -- Senior Vice President of the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP), Ghulam Hassan Mir, on Thursday raised concerns over the mass disconnection of electricity in four Beerwah villages - Palapora, Allah Pora, Larkipora, and Mustafa Colony.
Mir said, "I strongly condemn the disconnection of power supply in these villages, which has left residents, including children and elderly, struggling during the harsh winter nights. It is unjust that the entire community is being penalised for the non-payment of bills by a few consumers. Essential services like electricity should never be denied to law-abiding citizens," he said.
