The Roads & Buildings (R&B) Sub-Division Bandipora has raised serious objections over the installation of electric poles along the Aragam-Chanpal road, stating that the work was carried out without obtaining prior permission from the department.

According to an official communication addressed to the Executive Engineer, R&B Division Bandipora, the Assistant Executive Engineer has pointed out that electric poles were erected at several locations including Aragam, Garoora, Brar and Chanpal without securing a mandatory No Objection Certificate (NOC).
