Jammu, Nov. 19 -- Handwara, Nov 19 (KNS) As part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025-2026, Handwara Police today organized a Knock-Out Cricket Tournament at the Bungas Cricket Stadium Ground, Kutlari Mawar. The event aims to promote sportsmanship, encourage youth participation, and strengthen police-public relations through constructive community engagement.

The tournament was inaugurated by Shri Sahil Sarangal (IPS), SSP Handwara, in the presence of senior police officers, local dignitaries, and a large number of enthusiastic spectators.

The opening match of the tournament was played between United Sports Jahama and Victory Vipers Mawar, which witnessed an exciting contest and active support from local cricket lovers.
