Srinagar, Jan. 29 -- Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) President Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen on Thursday urged the administration to take urgent measures to provide relief to people affected by the recent heavy snowfall and gusty winds across Kashmir. Expressing concern over hardships faced by residents, particularly in higher-altitude areas, Yaseen said the adverse weather had severely disrupted normal life, cutting off several areas from essential services and basic connectivity. "The administration must act on a war footing to restore road connectivity in Khag, Khan Sahib, Beerwah, Chari-e-Sharif and other snowbound areas.
