The Block Medical Officer (BMO) Hajin has constituted a committee to examine requests seeking exemption from night duties at Community Health Centres (CHCs) Hajin and Sumbal, officials said on saturday.

The decision follows directions issued by MLA Sonawari during a review meeting on December 9, 2025, and is aimed at regulating exemptions without affecting emergency services and staffing norms at the health institutions.

The committee comprises Dr. Muzafar Ahmad Ganaie, Consultant Orthopaedician; Dr. Muzafar Ahmad, Consultant Paediatrician; Dr. Shani Alam Shah, Consultant Gynaecologist; Dr. Mohammad Ramzaan Bahar (MD Medicine), Medical Officer; and Mohammad Ayoub, Junior Assistant.
