Jammu, March 2 -- Geological Survey of India (GSI), under the Government of India, is celebrating its 175th Foundation Day on 4th March 2025. As part of the celebrations, GSI organized a pan-India walkathon on 2nd March 2025 with the theme"Geoscience for a Safe World" to raise public awareness about the importance of geoscience in addressing natural disasters, sustainable resource management, and ensuring a safe environment for future generations.
