Pulwama, Feb. 4 -- Government Degree College, Pulwama on Tuesday organised an online lecture on the occasion of World Cancer Day, highlighting the rising burden of cancer in Jammu and Kashmir. The lecture was delivered by Dr Manzoor A. Mir of the Department of Bioresources, University of Kashmir. Speaking on "Rising Burden of Cancer in Jammu and Kashmir: The Way Forward to Tackle It", Dr Mir warned of the increasing incidence of cancer cases in the region and discussed key risk factors.
