Srinagar, Nov. 13 -- Jammu and Kashmir Minister Javed Ahmad Rana said the government is actively examining the issues concerning daily wage workers and that a committee formed under the Chief Secretary has completed most of its work.

According to KNS Correspondent, Rana said the matter of daily wagers is not limited to a single department.

"According to the orders of the Chief Minister, a committee was constituted under the leadership of the Chief Secretary last year.

The committee has almost completed its exercise, and once the recommendations are submitted, the government will try to act on them," he said as per KNS.
