Jammu, July 7 -- The Cardiology Department of Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar has achieved a remarkable milestone by successfully performing 10 consecutive primary Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCIs) within 24 hours. The department maintained a door-to-balloon time of under 20 minutes in most cases, with the majority of procedures conducted during nighttime hours.
This achievement is significant, marking a first in Jammu & Kashmir where 10 acute heart attack cases were treated in a single center within such a short timeframe.
