June 2 (KNS), June 2 -- Australia's star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has announced his retirement from One Day Internationals (ODIs), aiming to focus on the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup and global T20 leagues, including the Big Bash League.
Maxwell, 36, played 149 ODIs for Australia, scoring 3,990 runs at an average of 33.81, including four centuries and 23 half-centuries, and took 77 wickets. Known for his explosive batting, he holds the second-highest strike rate (126) in ODI history, behind West Indies' Andre Russell.
Maxwell's remarkable innings during the 2023 ODI World Cup, where he scored an unbeaten 201 against Afghanistan in Mumbai, remains one of the most iconic knocks in the tournament's history.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsAp...
