Srinagar, Dec. 1 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday said infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kashmir Frontier have decreased this year, with four attempts recorded so far.

Two of the attempts took place before Operation Sindoor and two after it, he said, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS).

Addressing a press conference at the Humhama headquarters on the 61st Foundation Day of the BSF, Inspector General Kashmir Frontier Ashok Yadav said 13 infiltrators were involved in these attempts. He said eight were killed by the Army during joint operations, while five returned to the other side.
