Jammu, Jan. 2 -- Former Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Commissioner, Vice Chairman of Srinagar Development Authority (SDA), Managing Director of the State Financial Corporation and Director Estates, Mohd Aslam Laigroo passed away today morning at Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi, following a cardiac arrest.

A distinguished bureaucrat, Mohd Aslam Laigroo served the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state in various key administrative capacities with dedication, integrity and professionalism, earning widespread respect across administrative and public circles.
