Anantnag, Sept. 7 -- A stretch of the Khanabal-Nathpora-Dugpora road in Anantnag district has been badly damaged due to recent floods, leaving residents facing severe difficulties in movement and transport.

Officials said the road was washed away following a rise in the water level of the Jhelum River, cutting off vital connectivity for the local population.

In addition to road damage, several transformers and electric poles were also affected, resulting in disruption of power supply to the area. Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) employees have initiated restoration work to repair the damaged network and restore electricity at the earliest.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
