Jammu, April 2 -- Bandipora, April 2, 2025 (KNS): In an operation against illegal logging, the forest field staff of Ashtangoo Block, under the supervision of Block Officer (BO) Firdous Shah, successfully apprehended five timber smugglers in the dense forests of Halmatpora Aloosa during the intervening night of April 1-2, 2025. The crackdown took place in Compartment 9/Kh, where a significant quantity of illicit timber was recovered from the accused.
