Srinagar, Nov. 26 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that the number of government offices in the Union Territory has increased from 32 to 75, providing broader employment opportunities for local youth.

He stated that jobs in Jammu and Kashmir are now awarded strictly on merit, removing previous barriers that hindered talented and educated individuals due to favoritism. Sinha traced the historical context of governance and employment in the region.
