Srinagar, Aug. 9 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and HCM Omar Abdullah Saturday expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Naseema Akhter, wife of Mir Ghulam Qadir. The deceased was sister of Ghulam Hassan Kaloo, Editor of The Mirror of Kashmir, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Kaloo, and Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, Editor of Greater Kashmir. She was the mother of Mir Aijaz Ahmad, Editor Kashmir Canvas.

In a message of condolence, the duo extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved Kaloo and Mir families. They prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul in the highest ranks of Jannat and strength for the family to endure this irreparable loss.
