Srinagar, Oct. 4 -- The Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir has registered a case over a fake order related to the National Health Mission (NHM) J&K.

Officials said the case was filed after the State Nodal Officer of NHM reported that a forged order, titled "Provisional Selection List of Candidates for Different Posts (Kashmir Division)" against a 2021 notification, was being circulated on social media. The fake list, shown as issued by the Mission Director NHM, created confusion among the public.

Preliminary inquiry revealed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, an NGO named J&K Health Care Services was approved by the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir for providing voluntary manpower in medical blocks. However, members of...
