Senior Superintendent of Police Bandipora, Ajaz Zargar on Saturday said that fighting the rising drug menace has become the district police's top priority, warning that the growing addiction is inflicting deep harm on local youth.

Calling the crisis "a serious threat that demands immediate and collective attention", the SSP said the police cannot tackle the challenge alone. "Without the public's help, it is impossible to fully address this problem," he said.
