Baramulla, Feb. 18 -- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) district coordinator Baramulla and constituency in-charge Rafiabad Altaf Malik on Monday urged the district administration to ensure uninterrupted availability of essential commodities during the holy month of Ramadhan, with special focus on power supply during Sehri and Iftaar hours.

In a statement, Malik said that the demand for ration, cooking gas, kerosene oil, sugar, atta, drinking water and electricity rises sharply during Ramadhan and must be addressed proactively to avoid inconvenience to the public. He emphasized that uninterrupted electricity supply during Sehri and Iftaar is crucial for households observing the fast.
