Handwara, Nov. 16 -- Members of the Sanatana Dharam Sabha have expressed gratitude to the administration after a piece of temple land, encroached for nearly 36 years, was reclaimed following the intervention of senior officials.

Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Surendra Pandita, Vice President of the Sanatana Dharam Sabha, said the land had long been occupied by a poultry seller who operated from the site for decades.

He added that with the personal involvement of the Lieutenant Governor's office and the SSP, the land has now been restored to its rightful custodians.

Surendra further noted that another encroached stretch-54 kanals of Shibshan Bhoomi in Rajdhan Mawla-has been assured for clearance soon, with officials indicating ...
