Srinagar, Sept. 8 -- An encounter between militants and security forces began in the Guddar forest area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Monday.
Police said the operation was launched following specific intelligence inputs. Personnel from the Special Operations Group (SOG) of J&K Police, along with the Army and CRPF, are engaged in the operation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"Based on specific intelligence, an encounter has started in Guddar forest of Kulgam. SOG of J&K Police, Army and CRPF on job. Further details to follow," J&K Police said in a post on X.(KNS).
