Srinagar, June 7 -- People across Jammu and Kashmir celebrated Eid-ul-Azha on Monday with deep religious devotion and joyful spirit. Large crowds gathered at mosques and Eidgahs to offer special prayers, marking the beginning of the festival.

The largest prayer gathering took place at the revered Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar, where worshippers came over in thousands together. Among them were prominent political leaders, including Chief Ministers Omar Abdullah jkined by his two Sons and Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
