Srinagar, June 5 -- A delegation of Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar today visited the historic Eidgah grounds to review arrangements for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha prayers. The delegation met with the Waqf Board administrator and officials overseeing the site.
While it was noted that construction work on the new Mimber is still incomplete, and going on slowly , the concerned Waqf officials assured that the ground can be prepared and made ready to host the Eid congregation-provided that permission is granted by the authorities.
