Jammu, Sept. 26 -- Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary attended the closing ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada celebrations, a month long event dedicated to promoting Hindi in official communications, at Akashwani here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy CM emphasised on optimal use of Hindi in common masses besides increase of awareness for Hindi among employees also. He said that Hindi is third largest spoken language which shows the universal impact of this language.
Terming Hindi language as an ocean which has ingested many changes with time, the Deputy CM said that Hindi language has absorbed many words of different languages which are now easily used and understood by the people.
