Jammu, May 3 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Saturday paid a visit to the family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who tragically lost his life while protecting tourists during the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22.

Accompanied by MLA Pahalgam Altaf Ahmad Wani and local party functionaries, Dr. Farooq offered prayers for the deceased and expressed his condolences to the family of the Braveheart Adil. He assured them that the party stands with them in their time of grief.

During the visit, Dr. Farooq presented one month's basic salary of the MLA for Pahalgam, Altaf Kaloo, to Adil's father, Hyder Shah, at their residence in Pahalgam.
