Srinagar, July 27 -- The J&K National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sunday expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the killing of a youth, Muhammad Parvez, in the Nikki Tawi area of Jammu. Calling the incident "deeply unfortunate and regrettable," Dr. Farooq demanded a transparent and time-bound investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing.

In a statement issued to the media, Dr. Farooq echoed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's call for accountability and justice, emphasizing that the use of force by law enforcement agencies must be both responsible and proportionate.
