Doda, Sept. 13 -- Days after MLA Mehraj Malik was booked under the Public Safety Act and shifted to Kathua Jail, Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh said the situation in the district is under control.
Speaking after a meeting with civil society members, market associations, and transport associations, Singh said officials discussed issues faced by residents during the past four days of curfew and internet restrictions.
He said the meeting covered supply disruptions caused by the closure of the National Highway in Udhampur and transportation challenges due to restrictions under Section 163.
