Doda, Dec. 6 -- In a firm display of internal accountability, Doda Police have registered an FIR against an Assistant Sub-Inspector of the department after he was found involved in an alleged assault case.

The action follows a written complaint filed on December 3 at Police Post DH Doda by Anzar Majid Malik. In his statement, Malik accused Ghulam Ali, son of Mohd. Maqbool Dar of Sadeeqabad Doda, of wrongfully restraining and assaulting him.
