Srinagar, Sept. 17 -- Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, IAS, Director Sericulture J&K today chaired a comprehensive review meeting with the officers of Kashmir Division at the Directorate of Sericulture, Srinagar. The meeting was aimed to assess the physical and financial progress made under the ongoing CAPEX, Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) being implemented by the department.

While reviewing the status of expenditure and physical achievements, the Director emphasized the urgent need to accelerate the pace of work and improve utilization of funds across all schemes to ensure timely delivery of benefits to the silkworm rearers and other stakeholders associated with the sector.
