Srinagarf, Oct. 23 -- Director Agriculture Kashmir, Sartaj Ahmad Shah today kick started sale of onion seedling at Kitchen Garden Lalmandi, Srinagar.

During interaction with the farmers and kitchen garden lovers Director Agriculture said that Department is vigorously enduring to attract more and more farmers and kitchen garden lovers towards the vegetable sector.

He further said that department is producing seedlings of different vegetable crops in hi-tech poly houses under controlled conditions in all the districts of Kashmir division and the seedlings would be distributed among the farming community of the region in a phased manner so that the produce reaches market in a way where it could fetch the farmer maximum possible returns.
