Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, on Friday reaffirmed the commitment of law enforcement agencies to take strict action against individuals involved in narco-terrorism in the Union Territory.

Speaking to media persons after holding a Public Darbar in South Kashmir's Shopian district, DGP Prabhat said those engaged in drug-related activities would be dealt with firmly under the law.

Responding to a question on the potential rise in infiltration due to the melting of snow, he chose not to speculate. "Let us not make predictions like the meteorological department," he remarked.
