Ladakh June 04 (KNS), June 4 -- The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh has appointed the Director General of Police (DGP), Union Territory of Ladakh, as the new Director of Civil Defence for the region.
According to an official notification accessed by KNS, the appointment has been made under the provisions of the Civil Defence Act, 1968.
The notification states that the DGP will now also serve as the Director of Civil Defence, exercising powers and responsibilities outlined in the Act and related regulations.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe role includes overseeing the implementation and management of civil defence measures across the Union Territory.
