Kupwara, Aug. 21 -- In a significant step towards youth empowerment and national integration, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) marked its expansion in Jammu and Kashmir with a special honors ceremony and the establishment of new units at the 28 Infantry Division Headquarters, Kupwara, on Tuesday.

The event was graced by the Director General of NCC, Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, who was the chief guest. He was accompanied by Maj Gen Anupinder Bevli,VSM ADG JK&L directorate, Brig Atul Tripathi, Dy GOC 28 Infantry Division, and Lt Col S. S. Misquith, Officiating Commanding Officer, 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara.
